When I went to Gmail.com today at about 6:00 pm ET something weird
happened. It redirected to gmail.google.com (the correct address) then
changed to: http://localhost/gmail
I also noticed there are a few changes when in Gmail itself.
if you go directly to gmail.google.com it works fine.

Maybe Google is upgrading there system ?

It appears that Google is not giving out that many Gmail invites
anymore. Very interesting maybe they are having BIG problems. The Gmail
service itself is working like always though.
